Chorus performance with orchestra

San Diego Festival Chorus

The Chorus has been performing choral classics and masterworks as well as popularĀ  contemporary music since 2001. We welcome you to join our friendly group with the reward of learning and performing challenging and beautiful music.

In a time of pandemic we recognize that music plays an essential role in raising hearts and spirits. Although we can no longer practice together, our Director, Yewon Lee, has created
a Virtual Chorus video from Chorus member contributions. Please enjoy this version of Arirang, a Korean folksong that speaks to us in its lyrics of longing for those we can no longer
be near.

Come Sing with the Chorus

The Chorus is always interested in welcoming new members. All community members who enjoy singing are invited to join us. Please see the Join the Chorus page for full details on how you can get in on the fun.

Hear What We Do

For each concert, the Chorus performs both classical and popular works. Some samples:

"Hine Ma Tov" by Neil Ginsberg

"Sanctus" from Rutter's Requiem

More samples available on our Videos page.
