A Message from our Director

I extend a personal invitation for you and your singing friends to join our coming concert season. Starting Monday, January 5th 2009 we will be preparing for our Sunday, May 3rd Spring Concert with Rossini’s powerful “Stabat Mater”. This work features 4 outstanding San Diego area vocal soloists and our usual fine symphony orchestra. Other lighter musical fare will also be included. If you ever dreamed of singing more challenging music in an organization that includes other congenial friends, now is the time to join the San Diego Festival Chorus. Remember, there are no chorus auditions. Simply give me a call at 619-670-3588 so that I can learn something about you.

Perhaps you would like to join us for our June 22nd through July 6th 2009 concert tour of Italy. Details of this outstanding tour are listed here. You do not need to be singer. We already have 48 members signed up and there are a few more places still available. Family and friends may join you. A feature of this concert tour is that we will have a performance in Saint Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican with a possible audience with the Pope.
